The latest Cost of Doing Business study reported increased revenue and profit, as well as improving gross margins dollars on parts, service and wholegoods in 2020.

North American dealers reported strong financial results for 2020, according to the results of the latest Cost of Doing Business study from the Western Equipment Dealers Assn. On average per location, revenue, profit and gross margin dollars were all up.

4 Equipment Dealer Associations Board of Directors Vote to Form New National Association

New equipment dealer association will represent over 4,000 dealer members in the United States and Canada

The joint boards of the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA), the Midwest-SouthEastern Equipment Dealers Association (MSEDA), the United Equipment Dealers Association (UEDA) and the Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA) have voted to move forward with a proposal that would consolidate the four associations. This action is the first step towards consolidating which requires a vote by dealer members of each association, which should be completed in spring 2022.
