For the 2017 Farm Progress Show held in Decatur, Ill., Farm Equipment sent 10 staffers to scope out booths and interview manufacturers to find the latest new product innovations and advancements.
In this FREE eGuide, “What is Vertical Tillage Anyway,” 14 featured manufacturers demystify the definition of vertical tillage and how can it be useful to farmers that purchase this kind of equipment.
Adding to its line of tillage tools, Kuhn Krause launched its CCX 9000 pneumatic cover crop seeder for use with the company’s Excelerator vertical tillage tools, available in 11- 14- 20- and 25 foot widths. Product Manager Peter Goodge offers an overview of the system, where seed is fed from a 21 cubic foot hopper into an electric drive metering unit that uses a speed signal sent from the tractor and controlled by a Quantron controller for consistent application rate, regardless of speed variation.
