Kansas Dealer Adding 6,750 Square Foot Workshop to Facility

People driving past PrairieLand Partners in Marion have seen construction in progress for several weeks. The John Deere dealership is adding a 6,750-square-foot shop to its facility so it can move setup of large equipment indoors. Store manager Chad Gormley said that work has had to be done outdoors. The construction wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision.

Seed Hawk Plant Expanding

Seed Hawk has announced plans to begin work on two separate expansions to their facility in Langbank, Saskatchewan. In June, they will break ground on a 15,000 square foot addition to their manufacturing shop. Work on a second, larger 81,000 square foot addition to their manufacturing shop will begin in January 2014.

The president of a decades-old Sauk City hardware store destroyed by fire Monday night pledged to rebuild. John McFarlane, president of McFarlane Manufacturing Co., which includes McFarlanes True Value hardware store and a large customer and farming community service area, issued a statement Tuesday after a fire destroyed the store and service area.

CNH Invests $13 Million in New Parts Facility; Expects to Add 100 New Area Jobs

CNH Parts & Service, the product support division of agricultural and construction equipment maker CNH Global N.V. (NYSE: CNH), today announced plans to invest more than $13 million to equip and lease a new facility at 210 South Enterprise Drive in Lebanon, Ind., in the Lebanon Business Park. Once fully operational and staffed, the new facility is expected to support 100 new area jobs.
