Wet weather continues to hamper farmers from getting their corn and soybeans out of the field and into the bin. As of Nov. 12, USDA is reporting that 83% of corn acres and 93% of soybeans had been harvested.

With 100% of the corn planted in the 18 states that accounted for 92% of the 2016 corn acreage, USDA reported that 94% of corn acres have emerged as of June 11. This compares with 86% a week earlier, 95% last year on this date, and the 5-year average of 94%.
