Widely recognized as Canada's National dry land farm technology show, Canada's Farm Progress Show is an event that has matured into one of the industry's leading agriculture showcase. It promotes the latest in agricultural equipment, technology, services, and farming practices. The Farm Progress Show has earned a strong reputation by continually providing attendees with the opportunity to see the latest and the best innovations in agriculture production. As the needs of the industry change, the programming at the Farm Progress Show improves to reflect those changes. Again this year, the Farm Progress Show will introduce innovative products and services through the Innovations Program. The show will endorse all new inventions and promote real innovative improvements made to existing products. Building on the previous New Inventions Program, the revamped program will reach out to a broader range of products and better encourage the development and creations in the agri-business. All products recognized by the Innovations Program will be showcased in Arena 3. Promoting innovations in agriculture industry is on the top of the Farm Progress Show's agenda. Visitors will find the IBC presented by HSBC again in the Co-operators Center upper level. The IBC's home will continue to provide more space to accommodate the growing number of international visitors and export members. The new location allows a view of prime exhibit space of the show. The programming in the Farm Progress Show's IBC sets it apart from other shows of its kind. In 2012, the IBC welcomed over 600 international delegates from 50 countries. While the main purpose of the Farm Progress Show is to offer agriculture companies the opportunity to showcase their products to agriculture buyers, it's also an informative event where growers can learn about the most innovative farming practices. Through participation in a new educational seminars series titled the Farm Progress Forum, over 45,000 attendees will have an opportunity to hear from industry leaders about about industry topics. Also attendees will visit more than 700 exhibitors located in the 1.9 million sq.ft. of exhibit space. Everything that is needed to conduct a farming operation will be displayed at the show. The Farm Progress Show features 26 programs, including the Innovations Showcase, the Conexus Modern Lifestyles Showcase, the Alternative Energy Centre, the Livestock Production area, Antique Truck & Tractor.
