The EDF matching scholarship program is designed to assist in the training, re-training or advancement of employees or potential employees of farm, construction, industrial and outdoor power equipment dealers, with the intent to create a larger pool of qualified, committed long-term employees for those dealerships.

The establishment of NAEDA OPE Dealer Council is in the interest of OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) Dealers across North America. The Council, comprising 13 OPE Dealer Members and NAEDA staff, aims to address key issues affecting OPE dealers and provide solutions to improve advocacy, communication, and education for dealers.

Hershey is a partner in Case IH dealership Hoober, Inc. and previously served NAEDA as vice chair and as a director. The officer position elections took place at NAEDA’s summer board meeting held in Chicago, Ill.

Shane Wilker brings 35 years of experience in the agriculture aftermarket industry to the role. He will provide support to NAEDA's dealer members in the Pacific Northwest and Far West Regions.

NAEDA said the awards are given to highly rated manufacturers based on results of the Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey.

The newly elected and re-elected directors serve the organization's Canada, Deep Southern, Far West and Iowa-Nebraska regions.
