The Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) Foundation has announced a number of upcoming seminars focused on opportunities in used equipment and on parts and services. The events are coordinated to bring more certainty to ag equipment dealer businesses and help build the customer base, according to seminar planners. AED Foundation seminars support equipment dealers of many sectors including ag dealers and farmstead equipment, and are designed to help dealers and their key managers learn how to be more effective and to quickly improve their departments.

AED Used Equipment Seminar – Chicago, Ill., April 24–25

Led by Machinery Advisors Consortium (MAC) Advisor George Russell, along with Casey Seymour of Global Iron. Russell helps dealers to thrive in our cyclical industry, including leveraging the new to used cascade. Seymour is a leader in used equipment, and has helped many dealers in ag and construction equipment to learn how to use the washout approach as part of his ‘Pillars of Used Equipment.”

AED Basic Parts – Baton Rouge, La., April 29–30 (ends at noon), May 1–2 (ends at noon)

Led by MAC Advisors Bill Hoeg or Wayne Brozek, these one-and-a-half-day interactive hands-on training help new managers learn how to lead their department, manage people and processes, and grow sales and profitability.

AED Basic Service and Parts Combined – Brampton, ON, May 28–29

Led by MAC Advisors Bill Hoeg and Dave Dell, this new two-day program combines new managers so that they learn from the start how to help the other departments.
