Canada West Harvest Center recently announced the addition of Horsch equipment to its retail lineup at its 5-dealership group, expanding Horsch’s dealer coverage throughout Saskatchewan.

According to various news reports, the partnership will offer more products to farmers in the province, while providing for continued growth across Canada for Horsch. In other areas of the region, the company is already distributed by Claas dealers Ag-Authority and Tingley’s Harvest Center.

Representatives from Claas-owned Canada West Harvest Center offered that training has been underway for staff to be ready to sell and service the Horsch equipment, noting the number of machines available may be limited initially during this process.

Industry reports, including a recently-published overview by Andrew Joseph of Farms.com, noted that CAWHC General Manager, Mike Malmgren, met with the HORSCH family and made visits to multiple production facilities. The reports noted that the new partnership comes on the heels of large investments by Horsch into Canadian staff and operations over this past year. The company has established a 10,000 sq. ft. parts and distribution warehouse in Saskatoon, the largest city in the province, and Malmgrem reinforced that this factored strongly into the dealership’s decision to add Horsch products to its retail lineup.

“We are going to grow responsibly and make sure we can support what we sell,” Malgrem says. “This is CWHC’s 10th year in business and this major expansion in our product offering is well-timed…adding Horsch to our dealership makes us stronger."
