JD Equipment, the largest John Deere dealership group in Ohio, reports that its 5th annual World’s Largest Combine Clinic, held on Friday, August 22 at their London location, drew more than 300 attendees from Ohio and surrounding states.
Since its inception in 2010, the World’s Largest Combine Clinic has become a comprehensive seasonal review of many subjects relevant to combine owners and their fall harvest.
Participants at the World’s Largest Combine Clinic attended classes focused on various functions of John Deere combines and related products. Class topics covered S-Series combines, flex drapers, platforms, corn heads, AMS/Integrated Solutions, and 50-60-70 Series combines and separators. Classes were offered both in the morning and afternoon allowing attendees to customize their experience to fit their schedule.
Highlights during lunch included a demonstration of Precision’s Drones for agricultural applications and remarks from David Daniels, director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture. In conjunction with the course offerings, participants were given the opportunity to inspect equipment and present questions to the class instructors. JD Equipment also provided a way to ask questions after the clinic was over. Attendees can visit http://www.jdequipment.com/wlcc/ask until September 15, 2014, to ask questions of the instructors. Vendor representatives were also on hand to give demonstrations and insight on their latest product offerings, including Unverferth, J&M, Lankota and Stihl to name a few.
The dealership group also announced it is now offering its customers an option of converting residential and/or commercial mowers over to propane power. Propane power is a proven alternative to gasoline engines and helps users reduce their carbon footprint.
