JD Equipment has announced they will be holding the 5th annual World’s Largest Combine Clinic on Friday, August 22 at their store located at 1660 US 42 NE in London, Ohio 43140. Registration is now open for this event.

At the World’s Largest Combine Clinic, participants will attend a half-day session in which they choose three out of four classes to attend. These classes go in-depth on a range of combine and harvest related topics. There will be back-to-back sessions, in which participants can choose to attend either the morning or afternoon session.

Class topics at this year’s clinic include:

  • S-series combines — This class covers the new changes and updates, as well as discusses experiences and lessons learned from 2013. The course will go over new flex drapers, cab and controls, cleaning system, grain handling, and moisture sensor to mention a few.
  • Flex Drapers, Platforms and Corn Heads — Changes and updates on the flex draper over the past year, in addition to maintenance tips on all platforms and corn heads will be covered. They’ll cover reel fingers, sprockets, augers, cutter bar, guards, chopping stalks, row and height sensing, reels and more. Pre-season inspection and review of these items may save you time and frustration in the field down the road.
  • AMS/Integrated Solutions — This class will cover AutoTrac Row Sense and guidance set ups that help reduce overlap, Harvest Doc, different signal levels – RTK, SF1, SF2, 2630 display, Farm Management, JD link, Yield Monitors, and many more topics that need review. This class will also review changes and updates to software.
  • 50-60-70 Series Combines/Separators — Similar to last year, the 50-60-70 series class will provide the latest information on in-cab controls and settings, pre-season service tips, combine updates and options, capacity questions, and advice on how to handle your combine in different crop conditions. Service items, wear points, belts, bearings and more will also be discussed.

In addition to the courses offered, JD Equipment will have a variety of equipment set up all day, with their staff available to provide attendees with information and answer questions. There will be vendors on hand to give product demonstrations and materials on their latest lines, including John Deere, Unverferth, J&M, Lankota, Landoll, Stihl and Remlinger among others.

The morning session runs from 8–11 a.m., the afternoon session runs from 1–4 p.m., and from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. will be vendor sessions and a lunch buffet open to attendees of both the morning and afternoon sessions.
