Best of the Web This Week is brought to you by CLEANFIX.
Proven in the most demanding of ag conditions, CLEANFIX reversible fans provide the most efficient diesel engine cooling and radiator cleaning available. The multi-patented reversing fan technology maintains machine cooling as needed and, when required, provides the strongest blowout of dust and debris -- without halting or slowing operations.
Dealership Minds Summit: The How & Why Behind Inaugural Event
As our team prepares for the 9th annual Dealership Minds Summit this August in Illinois, we take a moment to revisit its origins. Here is Mike Lessiter’s original blog, “An Investment in Your Leadership Capital,” on event #1 and the how and why it came to be, a model that has stood the test of time. And a nod to the 8 companies who volunteered to back a very different educational opportunity for dealers that didn’t include a single minute of podium time … Agri-Trend, AgTron, DIS, GBGI, Horsch-Anderson, IRON Solutions, Orthman Manufacturing and Versatile.
The Keller Brothers & Their Skid Steer Loader
This quick-hitting video from AgWeek explains the Keller brothers — recent inductees into the Inventor’s Hall of Fame — and their invention of the skid-steer loader.
Lighting Up Weed Control
Our friends from Canada’s Real Agriculture were at our company’s National No-Tillage Conference in St. Louis last month, and captured speaker Jon Jackson’s new technology that uses light to destroy weed seeds — from the back of the combine.
INEDA Shares Dealer Perspectives with State Senators
On Jan. 19, the Iowa-Nebraska Dealers Association hosted over 20 state senators and state leaders for its annual legislative breakfast. The event was an opportunity for dealers to strengthen their relationship with Nebraska lawmakers and share their perspective on current legislation.
Then & Now: A Tour Of The Allis Chalmers West Allis Factory Headquarters
In 1962 Allis Chalmers offered farmers a chance to buy a tractor and take a trip to the main Allis Chalmers factory in their Land Of Power promotion. 60 years later In June of 2022 J and L Videos took its own trip to the sacred Allis Chalmers Factory to see what's still there and who uses it today. Today, the area includes a strip-mall, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers headquarters and the daycare that Executive Editor Kim Schmidt’s son attended.
