John Deere: ‘Your Margin is My Opportunity’

Canada's Shane Thomas is one of our staff's favorite scribes, kind of like Malcolm Gladwell meets agriculture. In his August 20 blog, he explains the “disruption by complements theory” and how John Deere appears to be borrowing a page from Jeff Bezos in how it views the crop input space.

In their tribute to the farm equipment legend, Vermeer shared this video from 1987 about the vision of Vermeer, as told by Bob Vermeer.
