According to published reports, Papé Machinery has acquired Floyd A. Boyd, a John Deere farm and turf equipment dealer group.

Floyd A. Boyd first handled International Harvester and then took on the Deere ag and turf contract in 1984. The dealership operated 4 Oregon locations in Central Point, Madras, Merrill and Bend, and 1 northern California store in Fall River Mills.

Papé Machinery is based in Eugene, Ore. With the acquisition of Floyd A. Boyd, Papé will operate 21 John Deere ag and turf stores: 13 in Oregon, 5 in Washington and 3 in Idaho. The company also owns 21 Deere construction dealerships 6 in Oregon, 7 in Washington, 7 in California and 1 in Nevada.

Eugene-based Papé Machinery has bought Floyd A. Boyd of Central Point, another long-time family owned equipment dealer, Papé announced Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boyd is a third-generation John Deere agricultural and turf equipment dealer with operations in Central Point, Bend, Madras and Merrill in Oregon, and Fall River Mills in Northern California. Papé said it will continue to operate these dealerships.

Papé Machinery now serves agricultural and turf customers from eight locations in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, 12 locations throughout Oregon and one in Northern California.

In addition to its 21 agricultural and turf locations, Papé Machinery has 21 construction and forestry locations in those states.
