H&S Manufacturing Co. Inc. was founded by Mr. Lauri Heikenen and two partners in 1967. In the years that followed, Mr. Heikenen bought out the original partners. The business was started to manufacture and sell self-unloading forage boxes to farm equipment dealers. The original manufacturing facility was a 50′ x 100’ block building with a very small office located on 5 acres in the then-new Marshfield Industrial Park.

Northstar Attachments is an innovative manufacturer of specialized tractor attachments and equipment designed primarily for tractors and loaders. We also build select attachments for backhoes, skid steer loaders, and ATVs. Northstar is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Northstar manufactures over 175 different product combinations from four product groups designed for orchard, vineyard, equine, landscape, commercial hay, general farm, and weekend farmer markets.
