According to published reports, Hoober Inc., a Case IH and Kubota dealer in Pennsylvania and Delaware, has acquired Chambersburg Farm Service in Chambersburg, Pa.

Hoober now has three locations in Pennsylvania: Intercourse, McAlisterville and Chambersburg; and two in Delaware: Middletown and Seaford.

"We are committed to production agriculture and part of that commitment includes identifying intensive agricultural markets like Chambersburg and the surrounding area," said Daryl Peifer, corporate manager of Hoober. "The area has a lot of characteristics of both Lancaster County and McAlisterville and we believe our experience and familiarity with the area will benefit customers of all three Pennsylvania locations."
