Ingersoll Tillage Group announces the appointment Roger Murdock to the position of vice president, sales and marketing. With over 30 years of experience working with such agricultural equipment companies as AGCO, Miller St. Nazianz, Claas and Brillion, Murdock brings a keen understanding of OEM marketing to Ingersoll.

Ingersoll expanded its marketing capabilities as a necessary response to successful product innovations. The company’s new patent-pending SoilRazor VT has made a significant impression on the industry, with its unique serrated edge design that maintains sharpness through wear.

“This is an exciting time for Ingersoll and having Roger on board will be an asset to our team,” says Steve Garrette, president, Ingersoll Tillage Group. “His knowledge and expertise in developing business-to-business relationships in the agriculture sector will undoubtedly benefit Ingersoll.”

Murdock officially joined Ingersoll Tillage Group in February and is focusing his efforts on developing a sales support organization focused on the needs of the company’s current customer base. He will also establish the organizational requirements needed to support Ingersoll’s growing global customer base.

“Ingersoll has built its reputation as an innovative company that caters to its clients,” says Murdock. “The level of professionalism and expertise on this team is what drew me to this company. Our job now is to take that reputation to global markets.”

Murdock will be based in Indiana, allowing him to support the global needs of the customers. He will also frequent the offices in Hamilton, Ontario, and Boulder, Colorado.
