Compact tractor maker KIOTI has unveiled its first utility transport vehicle for work or recreational uses.

Following years of design and both factory and field testing, the MECHRON Ultimate Transport Vehicle will soon be available to the North American marketplace.

Featuring a 22-horsepower, 3-cylinder Daedong diesel engine, the MECHRON offers a number of productive features. With 4-wheel-drive, the MECHRON has one of the widest tracks on the market and delivers stable operation and superior traction over challenging terrain, and up steep slopes. Front limited slip differential and rear differential lock are standard. The UTV offers a 56-inch-wide dump bed — the widest on the market — and a 1,600-pound payload capacity.

The MECHRON includes a MacPherson strut suspension up front and independent Dual-A arms with adjustable coil springs in the rear. A 12-inch ground clearance creates a smooth ride on bumpy roads and helps maintain the chassis — even under the heaviest loads.

The MECHRON also features rack-and-pinion steering and 25 x 10-12 tires up front.  Heavy-duty tubular steel frame construction and ROPS with seat belts are also standard.

Options include a hydraulic lift for the dump bed, front receiver and winch, rear operator screen, windshield, work lights, fog lights, dump bed cargo extenders and a Realtree Camo finish.

The new UTV line is available through the KIOTI dealer network. The product will also be featured at KIOTI's booth during the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Ga., later this month.
