KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong Industrial Company Ltd, recently held their Annual Dealer Meeting at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh, N.C. on Feb. 23-25, says a news release from the company.
With over 200 representatives from 115 dealerships in attendance, the meeting was extremely productive.
“Despite the challenging economic times that have caused many companies to eliminate their annual meetings and many dealers to cut their travel budgets, KIOTI opted to move forward with ours,” states Michael Boucher, Director of Finance for KIOTI.
“We continue to have a lot of new and exciting things to talk with our dealers about and this once a year opportunity allows us to do that, while at the same time recognizing the accomplishments of the previous sales year.”
The overall theme of this year’s meeting was Time Waits for No One. This 3-day event opened with a welcome reception on Feb. 23, followed by two days of extensive sales training, product announcements and the opportunity for dealers to provide KIOTI management with feedback from their territory.
Attendees spent one day at the hotel receiving sales training and vendor information and one day at the KIOTI Corporate Headquarters in Wendell, North Carolina in breakout sections for ride and drives, new product introductions and competitive product comparisons.
KIOTI’s brand new line of implements was announced and showcased during the meeting. This complete line of 66 tractor implements complement the KIOTI line of compact tractors, utility tractors and their new MECHRON UTV.
KIOTI also used the meeting to announce and launch some very aggressive finance programs available between March 1, 2010 and June 30, 2010 to help dealers help their customers purchase the new tractor or tractors they need this spring.
The new programs consist of their CK Series Free Loader Program, their LK and DS Series Low Payment Program and their DK Series Three Ways to Save Program. Dealers were extremely excited about the options these programs provide to potential customers.
According to Lyle Woods of Off-Duty Ranch, “These programs come at a time when many people are beginning to look at equipment they may need for the spring season. Having these programs in place will allow us to sell anyone from the customer looking for an entry level tractor to the customer looking for a more production-oriented tractor. These programs will allow us to provide customers with a wide range of options so that they can purchase the tractor that best fits their needs and their budget.”
The 2010 sales meeting concluded with a formal Dealer Awards banquet on the evening of February 25th. KIOTI’s US National Sales Manager, Tony Brown and Canadian National Sales Manager, Hans Bouwers presented the New Dealer of the Year Award, the Most Improved Dealer of the Year Award, KIOTI’s coveted 5-Paw Dealership Awards and KIOTI’s Million Dollar Dealer Awards for 2009.
