As part of its focus on organizational effectiveness, Premier Equipment is announcing the closure of its Brampton location following its final day of operations on December 18, 2026. Premier will continue to serve customers in the area through its surrounding branches, customer-site sales support and mobile service.

Over several decades of operation as a John Deere dealership in Brampton, the business has seen a significant shift in customer segments, needs of the customer base and how support is accessed. Currently much of that support is delivered at customer sites rather than at the dealership itself.

Consolidating operations will allow Premier to reduce overlap and promote efficiencies through redistributing resources and staff to strengthen neighboring locations in Milton, Ospringe and Nobleton. These locations also serve the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Dufferin County, Halton and Peel regions, providing coverage in areas currently served by the Brampton location. In addition, Premier also has locations in Stouffville, Port Perry and Orono that serve the eastern GTA.

“We’re grateful to the customers and employees who have been part of our Brampton location over the years,” says Allan Dueck, President of Premier Equipment. “Our commitment in this area continues. By bringing our teams and resources together at nearby branches and maintaining our mobile capabilities, we will work to continue to support our customers’ equipment, service and parts needs.”

Operations are expected to continue at the Brampton location during regular business hours through Friday, December 18, 2026.
