KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Calibrate, a network of experienced agribusiness executives and operators, is expanding its presence within the farm equipment sector to help manufacturers, distributors, representatives, dealers and related organizations solve complex business challenges with practical, industry-specific expertise.
Calibrate brings together senior leaders from across agriculture and assembles teams based on the specific challenge, opportunity or stage of growth facing a client. Rather than relying on a fixed consulting team, Calibrate draws from a network that spans equipment, crop inputs, animal health, ag technology, food and protein, finance, sustainability, commercial strategy and global markets.
For farm equipment manufacturers and dealers, Calibrate’s capabilities include dealer network performance, sales strategy, commercial planning, acquisitions and integration, organizational alignment, market entry, technology adoption, leadership support and growth strategy.
Experienced Equipment Leadership
Two Calibrate associates with deep equipment experience are Jim Wood and Tim Criddle.
Jim Wood brings more than 35 years of experience in equipment distribution, multi-location operations, sales leadership, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. His background includes executive leadership at Rocky Mountain Equipment, where he helped guide growth, consolidation and operational improvement across dealership networks.
Tim Criddle brings extensive commercial and leadership experience across agricultural equipment, crop inputs and agribusiness. His work has included building sales organizations, developing dealer networks, expanding into new markets, and helping companies translate innovative technologies into practical commercial growth.
“Farm equipment businesses are facing many of the same challenges we see across agriculture: margin pressure, consolidation, workforce constraints, technology adoption, and the need to grow without adding unnecessary overhead,” said Julia King, Founder of Calibrate. “Our model allows us to bring together leaders who understand those realities firsthand and build the right team around the problem.”
Calibrate recently joined both the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA) and the Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association (EMDA) as part of its effort to deepen relationships across the farm equipment industry—from manufacturers to the distributors, representatives and dealers that help bring equipment to market.
The firm’s positioning reflects that approach: The Right Agricultural Expertise. Right When It Matters.
