In its latest tractor market update on the tractor market, Constellation Dealership software companies — Ideal, Charter, and c-Systems has reported a monthly revenue decline of 17% in the U.S. in January, 2025 over the previous year, at $50 million. This compares to $60 million in January, 2024 which was the same in January, 2023, but, notably, reflects a marked decline from $89 million in December, 2023.
The report is based on data analyzed from 239 dealers, who during the month of January had total sales in January of $2 billion and sold 107,000 new wholegoods units.

Throughout the U.S., Constellation’s report detailed monthly revenue by region and the data shows the largest decrease was experienced in the Midwest (-31%) followed by the West (-18%), and the Northeast (-16%), while the Southwest saw a 6% increase.
For its part, Canada experienced 15% growth from January 2023 to January 2024, growing from a 50% decline in November and 22% decline in December, 2024.
