The Finnish tractor manufacturer delivers the most convincing allrounder available today – says the FARM MACHINE Jury.

With an output of 105-145 horsepower, the Finns place their new G series in the segment with the highest sales numbers in Europe and other parts of the world. As a first, they have designed a machine specifically for this class. In a field test for traction magazine, it showed it is a lot lighter than previous Valtra models in this range, but a lot more versatile in doing loader work. At the same time, it feels very much at home with field work.

Jury: "Convincing with a loader"

Other international jury members had similar experiences: "Great with a loader,“ comment the testers of Farm Machinery Journal (UK).

Alexander Bohnsack, editor of Agrartechnik (Germany), was convinced by the broad range of smart farming options. "Auto steering, ISOBUS, section control, variable rate control, data management via task doc — they all add up to lift this tractor somewhat above its class,“ he says.

Smart Farming for Beginners

Testers at tractio fell for the Smarttouch armrest which comes with the Versu line models. The concept isn’t new for Valtra, but still one of the clearly arranged ones on the market. You adjust anything on the machine by tapping the right area on a tractor image on the monitor. You will get to each option within a maximum of two taps. That is a real advantage over the competition.

The necessary power is provided by a 4.4-liter four-cylinder engine by AGCO Power (Stage V). The option packages are quite extensive and cause a wide price range for the series.
