DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Summers Manufacturing has hired Matthew Volkmar as its new director of sales and marketing. In this position, Volkmar will help forecast equipment sales and lead the company’s territory managers in achieving those goals. He will also work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure Summers maintains its strong reputation for customer service.

Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Volkmar earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota. After graduation, he gained experience working in agricultural equipment wholesaling and exports before advancing to the positions of Territory Manager and Director of Key Accounts for a Canadian manufacturer.
