The Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (AMC) is pleased to announce their program for the second annual agricultural equipment manufacturing expo (AMC Expo) in Guelph, Ont. on April 25. This year’s theme, “The Evolution of Sales in Agricultural Equipment” focuses on the challenges and opportunities that dealers and shortline manufacturers face in today’s fast changing environment. This year’s program will address enhancing dealer-manufacturer relations, trends in the marketplace and the dealer perspective on selling shortline farm equipment.

AMC’s annual expo takes place at the Delta Hotel Guelph Conference Centre and features keynote presentations from the Equipment Dealers Association’s president and CEO, Kim Rominger and VP of Industry Relations, Joe Dykes; and, Craig Klemmer, senior agricultural economist of Farm Credit Canada. The event will also hold a panel session with three of Ontario’s leading farm equipment dealers.

AMC hosted its first expo in 2017 with just over 100 delegates in attendance and anticipates even more attending in 2018.

“In 2017, for the third consecutive year, Ontario based agricultural equipment manufacturers exported more agricultural implements than any other province.” says AMC president Leah Olson. “This consistent performance highlights the innovative push of the manufacturers and the strength of the supply chain in Ontario. With the amalgamation of equipment dealers and changing needs of farmers, we are bringing together a great group of industry leaders to network and discuss the future of farming and how the sales of farm equipment are evolving.”
