RB Global Inc., a global partner for insights, services and transaction solutions, announced March 4 that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Big Iron Auction Company, accelerating the company’s strategic expansion into U.S. agriculture.

The objectives for this advisory group will be to provide subject matter expertise in areas outside the BigIron core businesses, as well as establish new relationships in other verticals that will create opportunities and support the organization’s overall growth.

BigIron Auctions announced their agreement to acquire Sullivan Auctioneers LLC — headquartered in Hamilton, Illinois. The agreement, finalized on July 19, will bring more than 300 employees together to serve the needs of the online auction industry across the U.S.
