Summers Manufacturing has added internal mud scrapers to its rolling basket attachments for tillage equipment. This new, patent-pending design increases the performance of Summers’ rolling baskets, allowing them to effectively break clods, mix residue and level the soil profile in most field conditions.

The mud scrapers are engineered to alleviate a variety of issues associated with traditional rolling basket designs. Without scrapers, rolling baskets are prone to accumulate with mud, adding significant weight that could cause damage to the unit. Also, rolling baskets are unable to move dirt properly if the paddles are not kept clean.
