According to Holly Jackson, marketing & merchandising coordinator for Green Line Equipment in Grand Island, Neb., “For over 45 years, the dealership has been serving the needs of farmers, ranchers and townsfolk. Now, we’ve expanded in a spacious, state-of-the-art building.”

The new building is 55,000 square feet with a 10,000 square foot mezzanine. The shop is 22,500 square feet with two overhead cranes, in-floor heat and two giant overhead fans to keep technicians comfortable year around. It has 30 foot ceilings and one large 40 foot door.

According to Jackson, Green Line Equipment’s decision for a new building was partially based on the continual growth of the agricultural economy, combined with growing inventories and larger pieces of equipment, and their previous facility was no longer meeting the company’s needs.

“Technology is also driving the farm equipment business and equipment is getting bigger and more sophisticated. However, at the heart of the decision was our commitment to customers, employees and the local community,” she says. “It demonstrates our long-term investment in the future of the area.”

Note the interesting floor in the showroom. It is polished concrete, sanded smooth, then sprayed with two different stains to create the “swirl” effect and finished it with a polish.
