“It’s just been incredible the amount of traffic that our new building has brought. We really look at it not necessarily as building a new building. For us it’s more about how much better it allows us to serve our customers,” says Bill Shrock, owner of Plevna Implement, Plevna, Ind.

He says he built the new 12,800 square foot facility to make a statement that the dealership intends to be around for a long time. But it’s been amazing the amount of traffic that it’s brought in.

The new store was designed around the “Massey Ferguson Retail Experience.” It features high ceilings and wide-open feel with a second story for additional office space, meeting rooms and employee break area, giving the dealership room to grow.

The parts department was greatly expanded and also features a second story for more parts inventory. “We don’t have a hardware store anywhere nearby, so we produce hydraulic hoses and carry parts and other inventory that almost any consumer can use,” says Shrock.

One of the things that really stands out in the new building is the care taken with the design and materials used in the restrooms. Shrock says, “I always rate a restaurant by its restrooms. I want people coming in here to know we care about these things.” There’s also a “coffee corner” for customers.
