Tango4’s new aluminum corn head was introduced to the North American market at the 2012 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, and featured at the 2012 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.

Developed and built in Argentina, the new combine header is up to 40% lighter than many conventional steel corn heads and has been sold throughout South America and Europe and is now available to North American farmers through Lawson Marketing Inc. of Bowling Green, Ky.

Its lightweight reduces soil compaction and fuel consumption. It’s available in 2-20 rows at 18-inch spacing. Available row spacing also includes 18, 20, 22 and 30 inches. Conversion kits are available to change row spacing on existing heads and sunflower kits are optional. Lawson Marketing is now setting up dealers across the U.S. and Canada. Tango4 has already set up a parts distribution system to assure easy access to repair and maintenance components for the new aluminum corn head.
