Tractor sales of Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) declined by nearly 10% to 16,049 units in the domestic market in April 2012 compared with the same period of 2011.
Domestic sales were 17,740 units during April 2011, according to company reports.
Total tractor sales (domestic and exports) in April 2012 stood at 16,797 units vs. 18,530 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month of April 2012 stood at 748 units.
