Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment, Dunnville, Ky. announces that it has reached an agreement with Feraboli Equipment, Cremona, Italy to make and distribute selected equipment for Feraboli and its U.S. based customers. Feraboli is a 130-year-old Italian company making some of the top agricultural equipment in the industry. Tarter is a 66-year-old company based in Dunnville that has grown into one of the largest 3-point equipment manufacturers and distributors in the nation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Feraboli will provide its proprietary technologies and knowledge on selected product lines to Tarter for manufacture here in the United States and distribution to Tarter and Feraboli customers throughout the U.S.
"This agreement further solidifies Tarter's position in the growing heavy ag market and further strengthens our position as a leading original equipment manufacturer for our customers here in the United States," says Josh Tarter, Vice President of Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment. "We are able to immediately leverage the experience and technology of Feraboli's proven equipment in the ag industry. This agreement furthers our business, Feraboli's business, and the business of our heavy ag dealers. We feel like everyone wins with this arrangement."
Tarter is currently completing a $3MM expansion in facilities and equipment in their heavy ag division. This expansion, along with this and other agreements, will lead to the creation of over 75 jobs in their Liberty, Ky. plant, which manufactures 3-point equipment, skid steer attachments, snow removal equipment, construction equipment, and cattle-handling equipment.
"These types of agreements and expansions are a key component of our on-going strategy to provide affordable, high-quality, American-made ag and construction products to our private and OEM dealer networks," says Tarter. Tarter is actively seeking and setting up new domestic partnerships and channels for the Feraboli line of hay tools and other equipment.
Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment is 66 year-old company still privately owned and operated by the Tarter family and currently operated by the fourth generation of Tarters. As the largest farm and ranch equipment manufacturer in the nation, they manufacture over 1000 "sku's" across 10 product categories, and ship product to dealers in all 50 states and Canada.
