AGCO has named Mike Alvin product marketing manager of high-horsepower tractors.

As product marketing manager, he will have responsibility for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing strategies designed to grow the high-horsepower tractor business in North America, reporting to Bill Hurley, director of marketing, HHP Tractors, Seeding & Tillage.

Alvin's most recent position was as senior field marketing specialist.

Prior to joining AGCO he had been with John Deere for 17 years most recently serving as a division marketing manager for mid-size utility tractors. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Arts from Memphis State University.
