Ag Growth International Inc. (“Ag Growth”) (TSX:AFN) announced that Rob Stenson, the company’s chief executive officer, has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment. Mr. Stenson intends to continue in his roles and responsibilities, however the time he will be able to devote to his duties will be somewhat limited as he deals with his personal health issues.

“I am proud that we have positioned the Company with the depth and breadth of management to execute on our strategic plan”, said Mr. Stenson, Ag Growth's CEO. “I am confident that any distraction arising from my personal situation will have no impact on the continued progress of our strategic plan.”

“We wish Rob well as he deals with this difficult challenge and we expect that everyone will respect his right to personal privacy,” said Bill Lambert, the Chairman of Ag Growth’s Board of Directors. “During this period Ag Growth’s senior management will continue to implement the Company’s business strategy in consultation with Mr. Stenson and with the support of the Board of Directors.”
