Case IH today received a delegation of senior Chinese officials at its Case IH plant in Racine, Wis.

The delegation included Mr. Gao Hong Bin, Vice Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Li Weiguo, Director General of the Department of State Farms, Mr. Xie Jianmin, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Mr. Sui Fengfu, Director General of the General Bureau of State Farms in Heilongjiang Province.

Randy Baker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Case IH, welcoming the delegation, said: "We are delighted to host such senior officials from the Chinese agriculture sector and to present them the most technologically advanced farming equipment from Case IH."

The Chinese delegation received a guided tour of the Racine plant and Training Center, as well as a program of farm visits to better understand Case IH's machines, technologies, and general agricultural best practices.

This visit forms part of the ongoing cooperation between Case IH and the Chinese State Farms. Within this framework, Case IH recently completed the delivery of over 100 agricultural machines, including Steiger and Magnum tractors, sprayers, Axial Flow combines, cotton pickers, sugar cane harvesters and other equipment, to various Chinese State Farms in the Heilongjiang, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Guangdong Provinces.

Over the course of the last year, Case IH became the market leader for imported agricultural machinery in the Chinese market. The brand's operations in the country draws on the local support of the Harbin, Urumuqi and Shanghai facilities and leverages its global resources and organization.

"Our longstanding partnership with China's State Farms dates to 1980 when we supplied the first Case IH Axial Flow combines to State Farms. Today, with this visit, we expect to further strengthen our cooperation with our Chinese counterparts in order to provide the best products and services," said Franco Fusignani, Head of CNH International.
