Replacing the HR 6040 R, the HR 6042 R maintains KUHN’s driveline, rotor system and durability, while introducing a redesigned frame that improves accessibility and reduces soil buildup. The single-arm, single-pivot design provides easier access to key components such as gearboxes, simplifying maintenance and reducing service time, while helping keep the machine cleaner in demanding field conditions. Its folding design also improves lifting, balance and transport stability, keeping the center of gravity closer to the tractor for safer, more comfortable operation.

Designed for high-horsepower operations, the HR 6042 R features a heavy-duty, oil-cooled central gearbox capable of handling up to 460 PTO horsepower. Its advanced rotor and blade design produces uniform soil tilth at working depths up to 10 in., enabling operators to create a high-quality seedbed while reducing fuel consumption and limiting the number of passes required.
