Murray, Ky.— Hutson Inc., a John Deere dealership group with 27 locations across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Michigan, announced July 28 that Casey Seymour has been named Senior Vice President of Asset Management, effective August 1, 2026. Seymour will be based at the company’s Murray, Kentucky office. Hutson Inc. was the 2023 Farm Equipment Dealership of the Year.
In the role, Seymour will lead Hutson’s asset management strategy across the organization, including used equipment valuation, inventory management, and remarketing.
Seymour joins Hutson from Farm Journal Media, where he served as Vice President of Machinery. He is the founder of the Moving Iron Podcast and Summit, which has become a premier industry gathering for used equipment professionals, and is a longtime contributor to Farm Equipment, where his “Ask the Expert” column has covered used equipment remarketing for years. Earlier in his career, Seymour spent nearly two decades in dealership roles spanning sales and equipment operations.
