A former boxer, Alex Swiderski recounts his journey from amateur fighting in California in the 1950s to professional boxing in Las Vegas, before ultimately returning to run a family business in Wisconsin. He describes winning state Golden Gloves titles, fighting professionally for two years, and making the pivotal decision to quit boxing after losing a rematch to light heavyweight Luther Davis. Alex reflects on how losing that fight was fortunate, as it led him to take over the struggling family business and discover his passion for sales and business management.
