He describes winning state Golden Gloves titles, fighting professionally for two years, and making the pivotal decision to quit boxing after losing a rematch to light heavyweight Luther Davis. Alex reflects on how losing that fight was fortunate, as it led him to take over the struggling family business and discover his passion for sales and business management.
