Rankin announced a leadership update to support the company’s next phase of growth, operational focus, and long-term stability.
Effective immediately, Matt Barnes has been promoted to President of Rankin, while Christopher Rankin will continue as Chief Executive Officer.
The transition follows several years of meaningful change for the company and reflects a deliberate move to strengthen execution and day-to-day leadership while maintaining long-term strategic focus. Rankin remains committed to building quality products and delivering dependable service to its customers and partners.

Matt is the right person to lead Rankin day to day, and I have full confidence in him.”
Barnes expressed appreciation for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to those it serves.
“I’m honored to step into the role of President of Rankin Equipment Co and grateful for the trust the Rankin family has placed in me,” said Barnes. “We will remain focused on quality, service, and reliability while continuing to strengthen our relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.”
Rankin will remain focused on long-term strategy, vision, and positioning the company for sustainable growth.
