Deere has laid off 34 employees at its Cylinder Works facility in Moline, Ill., according to a May 6 report from KWQC. The layoffs are effective May 31.
Cylinder Works has about 280 total employees with about 190 of them working in production and maintenance jobs
John Deere previously laid off 308 employees at its Waterloo Works facility in March, and 150 employees at its Ankeny, Iowa. This brings total Deere layoffs for 2024 to 492 employees.
