On Feb. 4, Beverage Tractor and Equipment, based in Stuart’s Draft, Va., opened the doors of its 2nd location in Blacksburg, Va. Prior to opening, the facility, a former car dealership and auto repair service location, was renovated by Larry Sams and the team at Sams Brothers Inc. This location will be a full line and full-service Kubota dealer led by Tim Saul, general manager, Stephen Eanes, sales manager, and Dalton Graham, service manager. Beverage Tractor of Blacksburg will host a Grand Opening and Open House on April 9th and 10th.

On March 1, Beverage Tractor and Equipment completed the acquisition of Collie Equipment Co. in Danville, Va., and welcomed the store into the Beverage Tractor family. Jim Shields, Collie’s previous owner, remains general manager and is supported by Liz Hylton, business manager, Seth Coleman, sales, and Richard Compton, service manager. All of Collie’s service, parts and office staff have joined the Beverage Tractor team also. Collie Equipment will host a Field Day event on April 3. 

Melissa Sandridge and JT Roper were promoted to multi-store management roles as Vice President of Operations and Director of Service and Warranty Administration, respectively, to support Beverage Tractor President, Charlie Beverage and its ownership group. Charlie Beverage, founder, former owner and current President of Beverage Tractor and Equipment had this to say about the expansion: “Our expansion plans are exciting! It is fun to be part of an organization that wants to grow, and Kubota is the perfect partner to grow with. I am thrilled to see where we will be in a few years! Growth has and will continue to provide opportunities for our employees and customers.”
