Cazenovia, NY – Cazenovia Equipment Company is expanding its reach into northern New York with the acquisition of LeBerge & Curtis of Canton, N.Y. This additional location in Canton will be Cazenovia Equipment’s 10th location, which will now encompass much of the southern tier, as well as central and northern New York. Cazenovia Equipment will take over operations at the Canton location on Nov. 5, 2019, upon completion of the acquisition.
Cazenovia Equipment and LeBerge & Curtis have been neighboring John Deere dealers since Cazenovia Equipment’s purchase of their Watertown location. Jim Frazee, Cazenovia Equipment president said, “We are very happy that Jim Curtis will be joining Cazenovia Equipment to continue managing the Canton location.”
Cazenovia Equipment Company has expanded its ag products and services to also serve the needs of large property owners, landscapers, commercial lawn care companies, golf courses, schools, municipalities and governments, homeowners, and the military. The Canton store addition will be an extension of this.
Cazenovia Equipment was founded in 1961 by Larry Love. Growing from the one store in Cazenovia, N.Y., there are currently 9 locations including Cazenovia, Chittenango, Clinton, Cortland, LaFayette, Oneonta, Sandy Creek, Watertown and Lowville. Canton will be the 10th location.
