A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Grand Kubota on March 28 in Grand Island, Neb., making it the thirteenth Kubota dealership in Nebraska. In attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony was co-owner and sales manager Rich Landell who said the dealership opened last November and has been “well accepted” by the community.

“Kubota is an excellent brand,” Landell said. “It is a very solid and up-and-coming business. It is something that is needed in Grand Island.”

In 2017, Kubota approached Landell about starting the Grand Island dealership. Following this, Kubota built a new dealership and the doors opened in November. The dealership offers products for sale, lease and rental and offers an extensive parts and service department. The dealership currently has 12 employees which Landell hopes to grow in the spring.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was held by the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce with around 40 people in attendance.
