Claas of America continues to grow its sales network with the expansion of two established dealerships in Oregon and Kentucky. Peterson Cat has expanded their Claas product range at their retail location in Salem, Ore. Whayne Supply Company has also added more Claas products at their Elizabethtown, Ky. store and in their new retail facility in Lexington, Ky. Both dealers have added to their offering with sales, parts and service support for the full range of Claas Baler and Hay Tools while Peterson Cat has also added the Jaguar line of self-propelled forage harvesters.
“Oregon and Kentucky are important areas of opportunity for Claas and we are thrilled to expand our relationships with Peterson Cat and Whayne Supply Company,” said Eric Raby, president and general manager – sales for Claas of America. “Both dealerships provide the agronomic and service expertise our expanding customer base requires to thrive. We are excited to support these dealers as they continue to grow and prosper.”
Peterson Cat
Peterson Cat is the authorized Cat dealer to customers in more than 100,000 square miles of California, Oregon and Washington. Family-owned since 1936, Peterson employs more than 1,400 people from eighteen full-service locations. The company’s Salem location features a fully stocked parts department, experienced sales team and highly trained technicians. The store carries Lexion combines, Jaguar forage harvesters and Claas balers and hay tools, as well as a full lineup of new and used Cat heavy equipment for sale and rent.
“We are excited to grow our dealer presence and to continue our partnership with Claas,” said Randy Grimes, general manager, ag division for Peterson Cat. “Like us, Claas values its customers and is focused on providing the best equipment, the best service and the best customer support. “
Whayne Supply Company
Whayne Supply Company, also a Cat dealer, has been in business for more than 100 years. The dealership, which has 17 locations, represents industry-leading suppliers of agricultural and construction equipment. Alongside sales and support of the Lexion combine offering at all of its locations, Whayne Supply’s Lexington and Elizabethtown sites will now provide a fully stocked parts department and factory trained service for Lexion combines, Jaguar forage harvesters and the full lineup of balers and hay tools.
“We have strategically chosen to carry the Claas line of balers and hay tools in our Elizabethtown and Lexington locations as these areas receive a decent amount of moisture; there are no other hay tools that perform as well as the Claas hay tools do in these conditions,” said Jason Buckman, ag manager of Whayne Supply Company. “The support and quality equipment which Claas provides makes our partnership a great fit.”
