SALINA, Kan. — Great Plains Ag, a division of Great Plains Mfg. Inc., is celebrating 40 years in business during 2016. Since operations began on April 1, 1976, Great Plains Ag has grown to employ hundreds of Kansans in communities across Central Kansas, producing grain drills, compact drills, vertical and conventional tillage equipment, fertilizer application equipment, sprayers and planters.

The anniversary celebration will kick off at the 2016 National Farm Machinery Show, Feb. 10-13 in Louisville, Ky., and will coincide with Land Pride’s 30th Anniversary. The Great Plains and Land Pride booths will highlight both anniversaries with special signage, co-branded displays, giveaways and over 50 implements occupying over 13,000 square feet.

Based in Salina, Kan., Great Plains Ag has manufacturing facilities across North Central Kansas, with factories in Salina, Tipton and Ellsworth, and product development facilities in both Assaria and Tipton.
