Attendees will have the opportunity to hear opening remarks from Mike Haberman, president of Gradall Industries, Inc., and 2017 chair of the AEM Board of Directors. A panel discussion moderated by Max Armstrong, co-host of This Week in Agribusiness and 2017 president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, will follow. The panel discussion will feature contributions from Leif Magnusson, president of CLAAS Global Sales America and chair of AEM’s Infrastructure Vision 2050 initiative, Jason Andringa, president and CEO of Vermeer Corporation and vice-chair of AEM’s Infrastructure Vision 2050 initiative, Zippy Duvall, president of the American Farm Bureau Federation, and Jamie L. Palmer, senior policy analyst at Indiana University’s Public Policy Institute.

Panelists will explore the principal challenges and opportunities facing rural infrastructure and the impact that the current condition of U.S. infrastructure is having on the agriculture sector. Panelists will also address ways the agriculture market can drive infrastructure innovation and adapt to shifts in technology, demographics, and consumer demands.
