The Waco Tribune-Herald reports that John Deere dealer Brazos Valley Equipment is building a new 40,000 square foot facility off Interstate 35 in Waco, Texas. Brazos has 4 stores in the Waco area.

The multimillion-dollar facility is almost twice as large as Brazos Valley Equipment building at 1601 LaSalle Ave.

“We outgrew it probably a few years ago,” owner Brent Neuhaus told the Tribune-Herald. “To be honest, we were waiting for the right location to become available, with the utilities we need, accessibility for large equipment and visibility for our customer base. It just seems like everything came together.”

Construction crews have nearly completed the steel skeleton for the new dealership, which will sell farm and ranch equipment, parts and attachments. Neuhaus said half the building will be devoted to servicing and maintaining products.

“The traditional farm and ranch will always be our core business, but our product line has shifted toward utility tractors the past 10 years,” said Neuhaus.

Two years ago, Brazos Valley Equipment built a new facility in Ennis, Texas, and remodeled a store in Cleburne, Texas.
