Massey Ferguson, a tractor brand of AGCO, and Woods, an implement and attachment brand of the Farm, Ranch, and Agriculture Division of Blount International, have joined together.

AGCO, Your Agriculture Company (NYSE:AGCO), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment and infrastructure, has announced a $20 million investment for its tractor manufacturing facility in Beauvais, France. The new complex will house the tractor cab production line and will also become home to a new Massey Ferguson International Sales Training Centre.

AGCO, Your Agriculture Company (NYSE:AGCO), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, today announced that it has agreed to establish a new joint venture in Algeria for the production of Massey Ferguson branded tractors. Under the shareholders agreement entered into with L'Enteprise Publique Economique de Commercialisation de Materiels Agricoles and L'Enteprise Publique Economique de Production de Tracteurs Agricoles, AGCO will take 49% ownership of Algeria Tractors Company. The new joint venture is based in Constantine, Algeria and will produce Massey Ferguson tractors for sale into the local domestic Algerian market. Production is expected to begin before the end of 2012.

New for 2010, the Massey Ferguson 1529 and 1532 compact tractors bring three-range hydrostatic transmissions to the Massey Ferguson 1500 Series line.
