  • The Thursday evening general session focuses on crop protection. University of Missouri weed specialist Kevin Bradley will review the status of glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth and best-management practices; Scott Brown of Murray State University will share the impact of water and offer tips on improving glyphosate effectiveness; and USDA-ARS researcher Jon Lundgren will discuss reasons why you might want to move away from Bt corn.

  • Friday morning's general session gets you below the soil profile with soil biologist Kris Nichols' ideas for improving soil biology and soil scientist and consultant Frank Gibbs' suggestions for unlocking the potential of earthworms.
