More than 5,000 farmers and agricultural contractors came from across Germany and its neighbouring countries on May 10th to attend a field day hosted by Amazone-Werke in the shadow of its Hasberger-Gaste factory.

Following the “More field intelligence“ theme, Amazone aimed to demonstrate to visitors how to achieve increased yields via more precision and through the use of innovative technologies and systems while also saving time in operational costs.

Highlights of the event included practical field demonstrations as well as the introduction of a number of upgraded machines built to new dimensions, such as a 12,000 litre crop protection sprayer.

Amazone is also expanding in the control technology sector and presented its new Amatron 3 and Amapad ISOBUS operator terminals that experts consider to be the trend setting technology.

The extensive program also included tours through the Amazone factory and fertilizer test laboratory as well as helicopter tours over Hasbergen-Gaste, bull riding, vintage tractors, and more to ensure visitors came away feel educated and entertained.
