The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has announced a special U.S. Trade Visitor & Exhibitor Program for its BioEnergy Decentral exhibition scheduled for November 16-19, 2010, in Hanover, Germany. DLG is also the organizer of Agritechnica, Europe’s largest exhibition of farm equipment.

BioEnergy Decentral will feature over 400 exhibitors and DLG expects some 38,000 visitors from all over the world to attend the event. Dozens of technical presentations will also highlight the 4-day event.

According to the organizers, bioenergy is set to play an ever-greater role in a future smart energy mix. Bioenergy sales in Germany topped $14.5 billion in 2008 and created 100,000 jobs. As a result, German manufacturers offer some of the most advanced technologies worldwide in this sector, which also offers opportunities for foreign suppliers.

BioEnergy Decentral is offering a special program for trade visitors and exhibitors from the U.S. in cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt. The U.S. Commercial Service will actively support U.S. clients attending the fair, assist in matching potential business partners and provide marketing counseling and market research.
